That's me up there!
Long before I designed my first website, I built a career in event lighting and production in Las Vegas – concerts, theatrical shows, conventions, festivals and more. Pulling together a massive show involves a lot of creative problem-solving and juggling endless details.
I loved the creative, barely controlled chaos…until the 100-hour workweeks took me down. I burned out hard. My health started to change, and I realized everything else needed to change as well.
In my years of show and event production, I spent a lot of time watching audiences. I noticed what moved them to the edges of their seats, what got a laugh, what dropped their jaws. And the idea of connecting deeply with the right audience member - evoking laughter, awe, or any other type of emotion - reaches far beyond the world of entertainment production.
Continuing to seek that connection is how I found my way into web and brand design. The jump between the two wasn’t all that large, either. I’m still creating that lightning-strike perfect connection while juggling all of the details. I just do it from a laptop now, in service of some of the most amazing, audacious women business owners you’ve ever met.
Because we don't want to see more burned out, brilliant women. We want more well-supported, community-centered businesses positioned to build beautiful, meaningful, and audacious things (without more being piled onto the to do list).
MC+C partners with women doing work that matters - the creatives, healers, and community builders. We help their businesses stop shouting into the void and start creating connections that resonate.
We seek to be more than "just a designer." We're the creative partner that takes the details off the to do list so you can focus on bigger things. We promise to create strategy and design that authentically reflects who you are, supports meaningful connection with your community, and positions your business for impact.
Our work turns the big, messy ideas born on your living room floor into crystal-clear, far-reaching digital spaces. Spaces that tell your story with emotion, guide your visitors carefully, and evoke something deeper within your community - be it your future clients or your literal neighbors. We don’t want your people to simply find you - we want them to recognize themselves in your work and engage with the conviction that you're the ideal choice.
Meaningful work deserves to be handled with respect. We treat your brand, your business, your community, and your time like they matter. Because they do.
We believe creative work thrives inside clear systems and thoughtful strategy. Structure isn’t restrictive to us, it’s what allows our work to grow.
We believe in the fundamental importance of beauty, art, and creativity in everyday life. Not as something frivolous, but as vital to our existence.
Moxie + Co. is explicitly inclusive. We work with and advocate for people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, body types, abilities, and identities. Discrimination, bigotry, and exclusion have no place here. If someone is unwilling to respect those different from themselves, they are not a fit for M+CC.
We don’t glorify burnout. We believe founders building impactful businesses deserve support and creative partnerships that make their work feel lighter, not heavier.
Accessibility is not an add-on. It’s a duty. We believe good design considers real bodies, real brains, and real lives including disability, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and fluctuating capacity. We seek to create inclusive, accessible worlds - both physical and digital.
